The project is behind the original projected schedule (completed by end of April). However, dogs are NOT allowed in the community pool.&lt;br /&gt;In fact, county health codes forbid pets in community pools. County inspections are random and unannounced, and when the inspectors discover a violation, both the dog owner and the association can receive citations.&lt;br /&gt;If you know of residents who are bringing their dogs into the pool, please advise management. In fact, we hear the following two questions quite often.&lt;br /&gt;Do these CFL bulbs really save as much energy as is claimed?&lt;br /&gt;How do we safely dispose of old, burned-out, mercury-containing CFL bulbs?&lt;br /&gt;ow let’s shed some light on&lt;br /&gt;the answers!&lt;br /&gt;Yes, CFL bulbs really do significantly reduce your energy bill! According to www.About.com, an average user can expect to save $36 per bulb when using CFL bulbs over incandescent bulbs. In fact, the extra cost associated with the CFL bulbs is matched by its savings after 500 hours of use. And, while incandescent bulbs generally last 500 hours to 2,000 hours, CFLs are guaranteed for 8,000 hours!&lt;br /&gt;Our “blue bins” do not recycle old, used CFL bulbs. It reflects a year-to-date net equity increase of $10,414.44 and year-to-date reserve funding of $105,357.45, as compared to a budget of $130,968.00. The association is currently 12 months behind in reserve funding.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Community Assisted Party Program (CAPP)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Community Assisted Party Program (CAPP) is the San Diego Police Department’s program designed to address loud and disruptive parties. Any citizen can report a loud party in progress by calling (619) 531-2000. The police will respond and, if the party is too loud, the police will quiet the party and issue a notice. A second complaint leads to a repeat visit by the police and a monetary fine.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;Please Be Considerate of Your Neighbors&lt;br /&gt;Don’t slam doors (not even sliding screen doors).&lt;br /&gt;Try not to bump interior walls or play loud music, as sounds carries into adjoining units.&lt;br /&gt;Turn down your car radio when you drive into the complex.&lt;br /&gt;Close your doors and windows whenever you run your vacuum.&lt;br /&gt;Keep the volume down on your TVs and stereos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;Remember that the garage area is an echo chamber, and all conversations can be overheard (including cell phone conversations).
